Second was Dan Romeril, a late entry and a new name on the running scene in 16:34. The newcomer winning the run of the night award. Third was teenager Dan Robinson in 16:40.
A terrific sea-saw battle in the women’s race saw teenager Jess Troy 20:29, just out sprint Liz Guillou 20:31 in an exciting finish. Third place, another newcomer, Fiona Anderson in 22:36
