Hearty Half Marathon 2026 Race Report & Launch of the 2027 JSAC Charity Half Marathon

Race Report
The Hearty Half Marathon 2026 in association with Jersey Spartan AC took place on Sunday morning. Starting under sunny skies and with a field of 335 entries.
Light winds meant perfect running conditions and Rahul Kini breezed home, a clear winner by over a minute from Josh Brien, with early leader James Oliver finishing third.
Rosie Adamson got the better of Fran Monticelli in the Ladies race. These two have been battling each other all season! A strong showing from Florence Gothard, not too far behind Monticelli, gained her a third place spot.
While the dry weather may not have held for all the runners, the atmosphere more than made up for it with Janine Fossey, affectionately known at the club as the St Clement Express, receiving a guard of honour through the finish line to celebrate her age group win. The race’s namesake & JHSG mascot, Hearty, cheered the runners on from their first few strides around the athletics track at FB Fields to their final sprint.
Many thanks to all our wonderful volunteers. We could not have done this without you!
