Tony Banks and Sylvia Thompson were first home in the Santander 5K road race held by Jersey Spartans recently.

Banks took the lead early on and came home unchallenged in 16.30, youngster Phil Maguire following him home in 17.18, winning him the run of the day award, whilst Jon Coote just held of Josh Brien to take third in 17.24.
Sylvia Thompson continued her unbeaten run coming home the clear winner of the ladies race in 19.42. Spartan stalwart Sue le Ruez 22.09 was runner up and in third was Sue Mawson in 23.20.
