Triathlete Dan Halksworth was a clear winner in a Jersey Spartan AC 10km road race run recently at Sorel in hot, sunny conditions. Halksworth took the lead early on and won the race in 33 mins 28 secs followed home by Damian Maher in 36-21. Third place went to Gerard Mooney with a time of 40-18.
Sam Lee took the women’s race winning her the run of the night award, in 40-39. Liz Le Guillon followed her home in second place in a time of 42-11.
