JSAC held its annual Wilson Trophy 5km handicap race on Tuesday 23rd, with Terri O’Donoghue taking first place, and for the third time in five years.
Terri hadn’t broken 25 minutes in a 5k this year but stormed home in an excellent 23-37, which was all the more remarkable as Trevor Dearsley had made up the one minute deficit on her, passed her to take the lead and then was himself overtaken by her in the latter stages of the race.
The fastest time of the day was Josh Brien’s 16.12 coming home in 11th place.
