26 runners took part in JSAC’s 10k race on Thursday evening, with James Faudemer and George Rice pulling clear of the field from the start.
Rice went for home a long way out and managed to open a gap on Faudemer of a few metres.
Eventually Faudemer caught up and edged ahead, finishing in 32 mins 21 secs with Rice a close second in 32 mins 23 secs. Paul Duxbury was third in 36 mins 39 secs.
Christina Hoyles won the Ladies race. Her time of 44 mins 09 secs also gaining her tenth place overall. Liz Le Guillou ran 45.20 to finish second while third place went to Rosie Adamson who completed the course in a time of 46 mins 28 secs.
