A field of 66 athletes turned out for the Jersey Spartan fancy dress 10k race on Boxing Day. The winner of the best fancy dress outfit went to Sue Mawson and second to her husband Jon with Nick Gorrod third in a festive Santa costume.
The race itself was won by Island Games gold medallist Dan Romeril who completed the course from the FB Fields in 33 mins 9 seconds. The much-improved Phil Taylor was runner-up in 33-35 with Tom Perchard third home in 34-38.
Jo Gorrod was first woman home in 39-32, runner-up Claire Malzard in 44.03 and Rebecca Tinnelly third in 44-45.
