There was enthusiastic group at the Bouley Bay hill climb on Sunday morning with the majority being junior athletes.
Twenty seven ran the uphill race of just over a mile and it was Sam Maher who triumphed in 6 mins 10 secs. Second place went to Dave Holmes in 6:17 and teenager Isaac du Val was third in 6:31.
Florence Gothard was first home in the girls/women’s race in 7.39 with Adele Maher second in 8:42 and Elizabeth Atkinson third in 8:57.
