Successful Weekend @ Hampshire Champs

Congratulations to all of the athletes who competed in the Hampshire County Track and Field Championships at the weekend.  We took a smaller group than in past years, but still returned with an impressive haul of 10 gold, 8 silver and 6 bronze medals.  There were numerous personal best performances.  Well done to you all.

A particular highlight of the weekend occurred at the end of the competition on Sunday when Razvan Roman, U13B, was competing in his first 1500m race.  The whole team were cheering him on and he did a fantastic job coming 3rd and received a bronze medal for his efforts.

The coaches were proud of you all.  Attached are the results, with those achieving English Schools standards awaiting confirmation of selection from the JAA.
