Josh Brien won the Tuesday evening 5km race along the seafront and in doing so dedicated his victory to his late Grandmother who had been a very keen supporter of his running career.
He took the lead early on and gradually pulled away from the chasing group and came home 30 seconds clear of the runner up in a time of 17 minutes 42 seconds.
Mike Anderson finished second in 18.12 just ahead of Super Veteran Phil Ahier , third in 18.15.
Antoinette Kyriacou won the Ladies’ race coming home in 19 minutes and 31 seconds and finishing ninth over all.
The second lady was Christina Hoyles 21.07, with Lara James third in 21.33.
