WELL DONE EVERYONE!
Hampshire Cross Country January 2020
The Junior Endurance section had a very successful day of
County Cross Country with both individual and team medals at
Fairthorne Manor near Botley in Hampshire. Firstly a quick
thank you to Under 13 youngster Seaena Silvester who was
lead cheerleader. Due to a recent niggle she was unable to
participate but supported each and every Spartan runner
through the start and finish making a big difference to team
morale. Great assistance from Carly (Team Manager and Judy
(Assistant Manager) ensured everyone was nutritionally ready
and rested from the journey. It made the trip very pleasant and
well organised on the day.
Results were very pleasing and mainly at or above our
expectations especially for those in their first County Champs

A group of 7 athletes travel to the Southern Cross Country later
in January and teams to be selected including Spartans at
Intercounty / English Schools events which follow in March.
