Grace Greenwood

Grace is our T35 100m and 200m sprinter. T35 is a category for disabled athletes with Cerebral Palsy and similar coordination impairments. Grace will shortly complete her first full season in athletics when she attends the CP Sport National Championships in Nottingham. Coached by Karen Le Mottee 12 year Beaulieu student  Grace has clocked some impressive times. In Doncaster she achieved a new CP U14 Age Group 100m Record of 19:10 and then beat that time in August clocking 19:05 at the UK Athletics National Junior Championships in Bedford when competing against a junior world record holder and current UK athletics team members. Currently ranked 4th in the UK (all females) for the 100m and 5th for the 200m Grace met Paralympions Kadeena Cox, Jonny Peacock and Sophia Warner when competing in a disability triathlon in Windsor this summer.

Further PB’s in Nottingham would be an amazing end to a debut season and hopefully a second invitation to train with UK athletics coaches in Loughborough will follow to compliment her winter programme with Karen.
