The Jersey Spartan Athletic Club held their annual Daphne Wagstaffe memorial 5km race at a sunny West Park on Tuesday evening. First home was Jamie Barker who recorded 17 mins 33 secs followed by Jon Coote in 18.33 who outsprinted Nick Gorrod, 18.35.
Mandy Evans was first woman back in 22.16, second was Sue le Ruez who ran 22.49 with Judith Russell third in 23.28.
Winners of the Daphne Wagstaffe trophy, which can only be won once by the same person, were Jon Coote and Judith Russell.
