Jersey Spartan Les Creux cross-country 6th December 2015
The JSAC cross-country season got underway at the weekend at Les Creux park over a four lap, 5.6 mile course. The weather was kind and provided good running conditions which Rory Johnson took advantage of to be a clear winner in 32 minutes 30 seconds. Super veteran Phil Ahier was second in 34-12 after passing Matt Ebbrell around the half way mark and he came third in 34.49.
Sixth overall and first woman was Jo Gorrod in a time of 36.41. Second place went to Claire Wilson in 37-41 and marathon runner Andrea Banks was third in 39-58.
The next JSAC event is a 5km evening race at West Park starting at 6.30pm on Tuesday 15th December.
